Soapstone Gallery is an online shop for soapstones and soapstone products produced by artisans in Kisii Kenya. Our products range include carvings, crafts, & jewellery; as well kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom & outdoors products.
We deliver our products to our customers across Kenya and abroad within reasonable timelines after the purchase order has been completed. For daily exhibitions & on site sales, visit us at our physical gallery on 3rd Floor, Umoja Complex, Hospital Road Kisii.
We also offer weekly tours to the quarry & production sites at Tabaka in Kisii. Reach out to us to plan a tour to the historic soapstone site in Africa.
Our artisans are more than 150 talented & skilled youths and women from the South Mugirango District in Kisii County; who have inherited their art of carving from their ancestors over the years and they fully depend on the soapstone trade as a source of their household incomes.
