Brookhouse school is located in a rural suburb of Nairobi, about 14 km from the city centre. The school was opened in 1981 and now occupies a thirteen-acre site which includes a kindergarten, junior and senior schools. There is boarding accommodation for 150 students. Sports facilities include a swimming pool and irrigated pitches for cricket, soccer and rugby. The school is adjacent to Nairobi National Park and the boarding house overlooks an extensive area of the park.
