InnoFaso is a Burkinabe agri-food company. This production facility, which is part of the PlumpyField network and is incorporated into the 2iE Technopole, intends to address the needs of Burkina Faso and the sub-region in terms of goods for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition. Between 2005 and 2012, Unicef, the largest player, bought slightly over 2,500T or 345,000 boxes of Plumpy’Nut to treat the children of our country before the foundation of InnoFaso. InnoFaso intends to completely replace imports with local manufacture and develop new solutions for the eradication of malnutrition in Burkina Faso by addressing the problem before it reaches a critical stage.
